In the beginner’s class, the recipient will decorate pre-cut shapes to make a lightcatcher & learn simple glass cutting techniques* to create a small picture or a different type of lightcatcher. No previous experience necessary. Suitable for age 14 upwards. Under 16’s should be accompanied by an adult.
The class will last around 3 hours in the comfort of my clean & bright studio in Finchampstead. All glass, use of tools & the cost of firing the glass is included & any necessary safety equipment will be provided. There is a large free car park on a level surface into the studio (no steps). The projects will be fired in the kiln & ready for collection approximately one week after the class.
While my regular working week is Monday to Friday, I am flexible regarding weekend/evening classes & this can be discussed with the recipient when they are booking their class.
