A chunky Murano glass heart in an olive-ish shade of green hung on a black faux suede cord. The cord is approx 46cm/18 inches in length excluding the clasp but it will hang a little lower due to both the size of the heart & the fact that it is on a larger bail.
Unlike the other pendants, this one has a matt finish. There is a lighter patch on the top of the heart, which does not detract from the appearance at all as is barely noticeable when worn. However, I think it is only fair to show it in the photos. This is a natural inclusion within the glass.
The heart was purchased by me, in person, direct from the glassmaker on the island of Murano in Italy. So, although it doesn’t have the conventional appearance of Murano glass I know it is genuine.
This Murano glass heart is far chunkier than most of the other Murano hearts for sale on here, so please see the image showing it against the metal ruler to get an idea of size & also be aware that every screen will display colours slightly differently.
There is also a photo showing the clasp. While still secure, a lot of people find this type of clasp easier to use than the traditional bolt or lobster claw fixings.
